SPEICH proposes a selected quality of shielding window solutions to be used both for naval and building industry. These products consist of a special film rolled in an aluminium box. It is used by stretching it out on the window by means of a mechanism. Depending on the characteristics of the film used, we can have:
Antiglear screens execution is custom made following all installation needs.

All necessary data for a suitable quotation are indicated in the Measure Collect Form.
Picture 1 shows some examples of typical window shapes and the proposed antiglare screen.
Picture 2 shows how the shield move on a trapezoidal window. Three types of shield winding mechanism cassettes are available, depending on the size of the window:
The installation of shield collecting cassette can be done in two different ways: wall or ceiling mounting. Suitable brackets will be supplied also in case of inclinated wall.
The shading coefficient shows the amount of solar energy which ends up behind the arrangement, most often in the form of secondary radiation. The lower is the value, the more effective is the reflective arrangement. A high-coefficient foil can be used with good efficiency if the heat absorbed in the foil is ventilated away. All values are based on ASHRAE-testing methods. This means, among other things, that the foil is fitted to the inside of 4-millimetre thick neutral glass.

The cassettes, made of anodized or powder painted aluminum, are used to recover the film wrapped. Therefore they have a protective function in addition to mechanical characteristics necessary for the proper operation of the winding mechanism. Three different types of cassettes are used, depending on window maximum size.

Movement by steel wires (Code MA): antiglare screen moved by gravity, without spring tension of the film and led by steel cables. The wire tension is guaranteed by two fixing devices that can be installed either vertically or horizontally. The height of the film is regulated by a lanyard provided. Recommended for medium to small windows (max width 1.5 m, height 1 m max).
Movement by tape (Code MN): the film is guided and driven by a tape tensioned by recovery roller equipped with a spring. The tape is collected by rolling it into a separate enclosure. The capacity of the enclosure allows to scroll up to 1,80 m.
Movement by lanyard (Code MC): the film is guided and driven by a wire tensioned by recovery roller equipped with a spring. The recovery of the wire is manually made by hanging it to a supplied hook. This system allows to reach the maximum height of the screen of 3,5 m.
