SDCS2 System SY

SDCS2 window wiper shall be used on large sized windows (arm length up to 1200 mm) on pleasure boats and super yacht, even for a particulary heavy duty. DCS technology is based on the connection of the motors by means of a CAN Bus line, which allows to obtain a perfect synchronism of the wipers. The DCS system allows to manage the wipers individually or divided into groups by means of a customizable control panel.

SDCS2 wiper system is constructed out of non-corrosive and top quality materials and extensive customization of finishes is available. It complies with the ISO 17899 compliance.

  • All arms are made of highly corrosion-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel;
  • Versions with spray nozzles (SP91PL.ZZ) are available;
  • Flat or articulated spatulas available. The length of the blade is selected to adapt to each specific application;
  • Excellent and customizable finishes: painted or carbon fiber versions available.

  • This panel allows to operate up to 5 groups from 1 up to 8 wipers;
  • It is available in two sizes and different versions, depending on num-ber and layout of the wipers;
  • Operating modes are available: intermitting mode, continuous mode;
  • The panel is backlighted, with dimmer;
  • Possibility to customize the panel graphics according to requirements;
  • The electrovalves for window washer equipment with a predetermined washing cycle;
  • Extensive customization for aux management.

It allows a perfect synchronization of the wipers in all operating conditions, both in continuous and intermittent operation mode. Synchronization occurs even if the wipers are different in dimensions and wiping angles.
Number of AuxiliariesThe DCS system provides the possibility to drive auxiliary devices that normally equips ship bridge, like elvalves of window rinse system, glass heater and wiper heater contactors and other devices. Each motor/control unit can manage 1 auxiliary. For centralized management of auxiliaries, we offer an auxiliary devices control unit, DCS.AUX4, a relay unit controlled by CANbus messages, which provides 4 power outputs to drive such auxiliaries.
