MAIN DESCRIPTION

The straight line wiper PG-Ext is a system with external installed motor, contained in a watertight casing IP68. The motor is equipped with an electronic speed regulator able to communicate with other devices via the CAN bus. The wiper PG-Ext is designed to ensure:

  • Two operation modes: continuous and intermittent running with the arm movement synchronized and maximum speed running for each wiper. The operating conditions are stabilized by the speed regulator in a wide range of voltages;
  • Low maintenance need and high strength for extreme marine conditions;
  • Rational wiring thanks to the control unit used both to contain an electronic speed regulator and as a distribution box. The control unit can also be used to feed auxiliaries like water/air electrovalves and wiper frame heating elements. In case of maintenance, it is possible to remove the electronic speed regulator without interrupting the CAN bus communication between wipers.

The wiper PG-Ext is also available with double arm (type PGD-EXT). On request these systems can be equipped with spray nozzles (option PG.ZZ) and with heated frame (option PG.HOT).

Product identification

Each window wiper PG-EXT series is uniquely identified by its serial number reported on a label placed on the wiper profile or on the back side electric motor.
