UC System

Naval Line

The UC control system is designed to actuate traditional pantograph, pendulum and straight line wipers.  The UC system can also drive auxiliaries devices to be used together the wiper system like fresh water/purge air electrovalves, wiper and window heaters. It is also possible to drive other devices, such as clear view screens. There are different versions of the UC control unit: the main difference consists in the number of wipers and auxiliaries that can be operated.

The UCS system consists in a range of standard panels with electrical part directly integrated into the panel case. The main features are:

  • supply voltages: 24V DC and 110 – 220V AC;
  • possibility to operate up to 2 wipers and 3 auxiliaries ;
  • actuation of the wipers in single speed continuous mode and variable interval with delay from 5 up to 14 seconds;
  • standard size panels according to DIN 43700/IEC 61554 with illuminated push button switches;
  • overload protection of each wiper motor by means of an automatic circuit breaker located on the panel.

Code

The code of UCS control system is composed as follows: UCS.XY.aux where “UCS” indicates the type, “X” the wipers number, “Y” the auxiliary devices number  and “aux” the possible auxiliaries driven (“S” for window washer equipments, “A” for compressed air and “H” for window and/or wiper heaters).

The UCP system consists of a series of standard panels connected to a control box containing the electronic card that controls the motors and auxiliary devices. The main features are:

  • supply voltages: 24V DC and 110 – 220V AC;
  • possibility to operate up to 10 wipers and 4 auxiliaries ;
  • actuation of the wipers in single speed continuous mode and variable interval with delay from 5 up to 14 seconds;
  • standard size panels according to DIN 43700/IEC 61554 with illuminated push button switches;
  • overload protection of each wiper motor by means of an automatic circuit breaker located in the electric box.

Code

The code of UCP control system is composed as follows: UCP.XY.aux where “UCP” indicates the type, “X” the wipers number, “Y” the auxiliary devices number  and “aux” the possible auxiliaries driven (“S” for window washer equipments, “A” for compressed air and “H” for window and/or wiper heaters).

The UCP system can be customized to satisfy the installation needs of complex situations such as on cruise and military ships. The features of these systems are:

  • supply voltages: 24V DC and 110 – 220V AC;
  • possibility to operate up to 10 wipers and 4 auxiliaries ;
  • actuation of the wipers in single speed continuous mode and variable interval with delay from 5 up to 14 seconds;
  • overload protection of each wiper motor by means of an automatic circuit breaker located in the electric box.
  • control panels with illuminated push button switches and dimmer connected to one or more control boxes. These panels can be fully custom made so to reproduce the layout of the bridge to facilitate identification of the wipers to be driven.
